Men’s Soccer Hosts Clinic for At-Risk Youth

At Mason, all student-athletes are involved in the community in one form or another. Earlier this month, the Patriots men’s soccer team had a chance to work with a group of at-risk youth as they held a clinic on campus. Comprised of youth who had either been involved with a gang or had family members who participated in gang activities, the clinic featured three different stations including dribbling, special tricks, and shooting on goal. The group returned to campus later in the week to cheer on the Patriots in their exhibition match against defending national champion Virginia.
